I am a new songwriter with 37 years of keyboard experience, 13 years of formal training, and 7 years of classical music training.

I am marketing my songs, as well as songs I have co-authored, to singers who are interested in performing them.

I currently have four copyrighted songs, one which is recorded in two different versions, and I have multiple established lyrics/tunes in the ranks for musical development.

My focus is on contemporary style songs, and the Pop-Easy Listening and Country-Contemporary genres are two of the genres with the least earmarks among all genres, which means that my songs should be easily convertible to another genre.

This website lists UNPUBLISHED songs that are Copyrighted / Performance-Protected which I have written or co-authored.

I AM NOT A SINGER...my voice is, at best, presentable.  I am marketing my songs to someone that I truly hope will put them on the charts!

If you're in the market to sing or record a new song, look at what I've got, and let me know if you're interested in buying the rights to record these songs.

I have recorded segmented demo clips of my songs on this web site for you.

If you're interested in any of my songs, you may follow the LINKS below to purchase an MP3 copy.

If you are interested in performing one of these songs, please contact me so that we can make the proper contractual arrangements to set you up for recording or performing one of my songs.

Sheet Music and Lead Sheets are available for serious inquiries.

If you are considering performing one of my songs under contract, I can provide a Lead Sheet upon request.

If you are interested in purchasing Sheet Music for one of my songs, I have Melody and Harmony versions available for purchase and download.

If you're not a performer and you would like to have your own copy of any of my songs, you can purchase them for $.99 each at Broadjam - click this link:

ABOUT ME:  I started playing the piano at age 6 in 1963, and I started writing songs in the late 1970's.  At age 15, I was a troubled teen, and a minister from my church asked me to audition as pianist for my church's district teen singing group; but a young lady I competed against every year in talent competitions had auditioned, and I had no reason to doubt that she would be selected because she was so talented and well-respected by the church.  Nonetheless, the minister insisted, so I auditioned, and to my surprise I was selected!  I traveled across North Arkansas with this group for just over 3 years until I graduated from high school.  When I arrived at college, I told my counselor that I "only know how to play the piano."  The next thing I knew I was on stage every month playing a huge grand piano with the staff of music professors in the audience grading every stroke of the keys - classical music, of course.  Looking back, I can't believe I played the Hungarian Dance in such an accomplished manner for a High School recital.  I tried to play it recently, and I was thoroughly impressed with my younger abilities at that moment.

The reason I am telling you this is so that you understand just how pivotal music was for me (as I believe it can be for many young people) at an early age--it literally changed my life, pointing me in a good and wholesome direction.  Had I not traveled twice a month for just over 3 years with that group, I'm sure I wouldn't have been as level-headed and grounded as I became.

For this reason, I am extremely passionate about encouraging others to learn to play a musical instrument because these days, learning MIDI music technology and how to play an instrument requires a lot of time and provides more enjoyment than my generation could have ever hoped to experience in the formative stages.  I truly believe that anyone who decides to learn is delving into a good and wholesome activity, and for our youth, it can foster confidence, independence, enjoyment, (pianists and guitarists are typically regarded as "leaders") and the amount of time required may keep your child away from others who may be bad influences!

This is the reason I am sponsoring an article I wrote, "Home Music Lessons Using The Computer," here on my musician/artist promotional web site in the hopes that the information I am offering to you will help you to have the confidence to set up a computer and piano or computer and guitar (or other MIDI-capable instrument) with Tutorial Software in order to take advantage of this wonderful technology and learn to play a musical instrument (and have fun) in the privacy of your own home.
